MYKONOS - SIGHTSEEING places to visit .

Mykonos windmills -  is the perfect landscape for photography and a very  famous landmark in Mykonos.

Little Venice: Little Venice is located between Kastro and Skarpa and it is place that reminds fairytales. Characteristic colourful balconies standed on wooden sticks ,"mpountia" , and buildings so close to sea make the visitors feel like being in Italy. Here  you can enjoy dreaming sunsets.

City Hall: Neoclassical two-storey building with a roof of 1780. Functioned as the headquarters of the Russian General Consul of the Aegean Sea after the mouvement of "Orlofika" and then came to the jurisdiction of the Community of the island. Today it houses the offices of the Municipality of Mykonos, with the adjoining building lean 'Mavros'  was the first public school on the island.

Doors: At the location ''Doors'' it is located the tower that overlooks Platis Gialos. The sustained entrance consisting of three large carved granite stones that stand proudly impresses all the visitors.

Complex of Kato Miloi: Between Alefkadra and Niochori the famous mills stand imposingly oriented towards the sea and enchant every visitor. Seven of the ten mills are preserved and make us travel back in time when Mykonos had economic strength as an important naval station. Having the benefit of strong winds the mykonians had a large grain production and supplied visitors with ''paximadia'', kind of drained bred.At Niochori village there is still a historic bakery that makes traditional "paximadia" and operates furnace, the''Yora's Bakery''

Municipal Library: Housed in the magnificent mansion Kampani 18th-century, at Agia Paraskeuh. It includes an incredible collection of 10,000 volumes (large part of them was donated by Alexander Meletopoulos) also has photos, documents of the 18th and 19th century engravings.
